SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
SQL Server Reporting Services provides a full range of ready-to-use tools and services to help you create, deploy, and manage reports for your organization, as well as programming features that enable you to extend and customize your reporting functionality. Default authentication for report server works with Internet Explorer and Apple Safari browsers, as well as with the Firefox browser. |

Limitations |
Apple Safari does not support viewing reports in Report Manager. Apple Safari supports export only to TIFF and PDF. Uploading reports definition language (RDL) files to a SharePoint document library, to the Windows Azure report server, and to the report server database is not supported on the iPad. |
Supported Features |
Access the reports from email, Report Manager, SharePoint document Library, SharePoint Web part, and report server on-premises and in Windows Azure SQL Reporting. On the Microsoft Surface device, you can access the SQL Reporting report server by using the RS Dashboard application. The application is available for download from the Windows Store. Navigate and interact with the report using collapse and expand items, sort, parameters, hyperlinks, and the Find command. You can collapse and expand rows and columns associated with groups by taping the plus (+) and minus (-) signs respectively. Export to TIFF, PDF, XML, CSV, MHTML, Excel, Word. Upload reports to a SharePoint document library, and to the report server database. |

Office 365
Office 365 combines the familiar Microsoft Office desktop suite with cloud-based versions of Microsoft’s next-generation communications and collaboration services—including Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Office Web Apps, and Microsoft Lync Online—to help users be productive from virtually anywhere through the Internet. Limitations |
Mobile phones are currently not supported for viewing BI content. Workbooks cannot exceed 10 MB in file size to be viewed in a browser window. External data connectivity is currently not supported for workbooks. PerformancePoint Services is not available in Office 365. |

The Microsoft Power BI Windows Store app provides live on-the-go access to the important business information stored in your Office 365 account. With the Power BI app, you can view and interact with Excel and Power View content on any Windows 8 or Windows RT tablet or PC, including the Surface.
