Enable or disable languages

You can enable or disable languages in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to address your business requirements. However, you can’t disable the base language.

Important

If you’re running Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Outlook, before you can enable additional languages, you must download one or more Language Packs on the same computer.

  1. Make sure that you have the System Administrator or System Customizer security role or equivalent permissions. 

    Check your security role

    • Follow the steps in View your user profile.

    • Don’t have the correct permissions? Contact your system administrator.

  2. Go to Settings > Administration.

     

  3. Choose Languages.

  4. Select the languages you want to enable and clear those you want to disable.

  5. Choose Apply.

  6. When you’re finished enabling and disabling languages, choose Close.
