HiAs far as I have tried to analyze update settings from MCM client vs GPO, I have seen that not the Policy refresh does update the registry values but the update cycles do.

@KarolJ Hello,svchost.exe is just the operating system process that runs services like WMI, print spooler, firewall, antivirus, etc., etc., etc. You can simply delete the file C:\Windows\System32\GroupPolicy\Machine\Registry.pol then run gpupdate /force and it will recreate the file.
