Outlook Mobile App

Love this app for being able to get through my work emails on my phone or tablet while I’m on the move. The only thing I can’t work out, or that I would like to see added is the ability to attach multiple emails into one email. Like if I’ve been sent various invoices from different parties, I’d like to send those emails by attaching them into one email like you can do with the PC version. Otherwise it’s awesome!

Really Hopefully - Currently Dismal

There is so much hope for this app, but the inability to drag and drop a file to OneDrive, a fellow Microsoft App, is unacceptable in 2024? There is also no way to attach multiple attachments at once (select) if you are already composing an email. You have to attach each document one at a time??? If it was a bug, it wouldn’t have persisted for years. If it is a limitation, that is unexplainable to me. To buy an iPad for light desk work- the form factor is perfect for what I need- but have these imaginary limitations is so disappointing and makes me feel like I wasted my buying opportunity. I have sent support requests, and appealed for some information on whether this is a bug or limitation; no response. I find this very disappointing, and the design team have been dealt a disservice to have put so much effort into this app to be capped for (presumably) monetary reasons. I hope that we can return to an environment where the primary goal is to make a great app/service, but not for the betterment of your own ecosystem. There are other drawbacks which I might understand, but the complete inability to file a document on OneDrive using my iPad is frustrating and disappointing.

Update Reminder Nag

While the app is generally good for it’s intended purpose, recently a pop up to update nags at every launch on the previous version.

The requirement is iOS 13, which isn’t available for iPhone 6 (first models) at this time. So how do we get rid of it?! Plus there must be a function to send an accounts credentials type of binary file that can be exported from PC to mobile via email or a ‘save as’ option.

That would simplify moving accounts across without a headache 🤕 even after the option to ‘setup the same account during email account setup is offered in desktop to simplify setup on mobile; has passed or was skipped, and improve usability with something actually useful
