Works great. Pretty good at cropping the paper automatically and you can save the file as an image or a PDF making saving multiple images as one file in your OneDrive super easy. It's also dead simple to use. Open the app, look at the thing you want to scan, and shoot. If you want to put multiple in the same file or do multiple at once that's super easy, just hit the little button next to the camera button.

Been using this app for years! Great for scanning documents which I do regularly, but what I like is to take a photo of something that might be tilted a bit and having the option to diagonally crop to fix it which most other apps don't have. Microsoft deserves a lot of praise for this app because it is a huge time saver at least for myself.

This is a barely serviceable application. OCR had been around since 1954. Leave it to MS to develop it a more useless level. While it can take a pic of text and convert it to text data, it completely ignores any formatting and just assumes to turn any spaces over two characters into a return/new line - double spaced, of course, to make it even more annoying. If you want to import text into Excel, forget it. The formatting of the text output is pretty much useless.
