After you update: next steps to success with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Now that you've updated to the most current version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM - or added Microsoft Social Listening or Microsoft Dynamics CRM to your subscription - we want to make sure that you have the information you need to take full advantage of the exciting new features and tools. We’ve pulled together a few things to help you learn more about what these new versions offer for your organization.

Here are some useful resources to help your organization transition to the new versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Social Listening and Microsoft Dynamics Marketing. These new features should be available to use right away without any additional level of configuration.

If you’ve updated to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 and need more information to help you adopt the new features and functions, please review the sections below. This section is applicable only after you update to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 – if you have already updated to Microsoft Dynamics Marketing Spring ‘14, please refer to the beginning section of this web page.
If you’re using CRM Online Fall ‘13, you can take advantage of a new test environment (non-production instance) to test your code or changes before you go live. CRM Online Fall ‘13 subscribers can obtain one or more non-production instances.
Subscribers with 25 or more users are eligible for one free non-production instance (the admin will receive a notification in the admin toolbar for any free non-production instances).
All customers can buy non-production instances.
Non-production instances are not available for trial customers.
Microsoft Online Services administrators can add a non-production instance as an add-on from the Office 365 admin center.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 for Outlook with CRM 2011 Update Rollup 12 or later is compatible with CRM Online Fall ‘13 and CRM 2013. This gives administrators time to do a phased rollout of CRM 2013 for Outlook. We recommend you upgrade however, to take full advantage of the new features.
