Windows Server Additional Qualifiers (AQs) are a collection of features that are listed in a separate category in the Windows Server Catalog. You can filter by Additional Qualifications to see the products with certifications for specific functionality, such as Secure-core server and network adapters that are suitable for specific workloads such as compute or storage. Network Adapters
- NIC certification changes - We have simplified the structure of Windows Server NIC certifications to align them with the intended roles of the adapters.
- Role-based certification structure - New certification structure based on three roles: Management, Compute, and Storage. Each role can have Standard or Premium qualifications depending on the features and tests passed by the adapter.
- Benefits of the new structure - Easily identify the best adapters of workloads to avoid confusion and frustration, and increase network reliability.
